What We Do

Training & Capacity Building

We organize practical training sessions, workshops, and discussions to help women understand internet governance, cybersecurity, digital rights, and policy-making. These programs are designed to equip participants with skills they can apply in real-world settings.

Mentorship & Networking

We connect women with experienced professionals in internet governance, offering mentorship and career guidance. This creates opportunities for learning, collaboration, and professional growth.

Policy Engagement & Advocacy

WIG provides a platform for women to contribute to discussions on internet policies. Through dialogues, consultations, and working groups, we encourage participation in decision-making processes that shape the digital space.

Annual Conferences & Forums

Representation in Global Internet Governance Spaces

We encourage women to take active roles in international internet governance meetings such as the Internet Governance Forum (IGF), ICANN, ISOC and other related spaces where key decisions about the internet are made. Through these activities, WIG works to ensure that women are not just part of the conversation but are leading and making an impact in internet governance.
